Myth 5: A Person Can Get Stuck In Hypnosis

A popular misconception about hypnosis is that a person who enters a hypnotic state may never leave it. ABSOLUTELY FALSE!
Whether or not the hypnotist runs away after hypnotizing an individual, the individual can come out of the hypnotic state effortlessly. One of two things could take place: either the individual opens his/her eyes after some period of quiet or the individual nods off to sleep and afterward awakens naturally.
When you listen to an audio recording to practice guided self-hypnosis, your session expires immediately the program ends. In the event that you nod off to sleep during the session, you won’t wake up in a trance-like state.
